Discovering My Passion In Design
Before I started high school, I really enjoyed painting and drawing. That love for art inspired me to join a design program in high school, and I even went on to get my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design! After spending a few years at an advertising company, I felt a strong desire to expand my knowledge even further. So, I decided to take the leap and enroll in a master's degree in the same field. It’s been quite the journey!
Why UX Design?
I've always thought of Graphic Design as being closely tied to technology, but it wasn't until my Master's program that I really explored this connection. During my studies, I discovered UX/UI design and got to dive into some interesting articles and books about it. For my thesis, I decided to focus on this topic, which included translating a book as a reference, and I even designed a website for an architecture company, which was a fun challenge! After moving to the United States, I decided to keep building on my skills by joining a boot camp at Georgia Tech University. It was a great opportunity to earn a certificate in UX/UI design and expand my knowledge in this exciting field!
